A while back I posted a bit about the varied and frequent questions I get as the mom of many children, mom of 6 boys and the mom of twins. There are so many questions and if you have one now is the time to ask heehee! Believe me, you would be hard pressed to find a question that would shock me! For the most part people are genuinely interested or asking out of confusion. So, bring on the questions (leave a comment on this post) and I’ll do what I can to answer them adequately.
Here’s a couple of our family’s FAQs:
- How do you feed that many children?
- How to you keep track of them all? (this one always makes me laugh)
- Where do they all sleep?
When we’re out in public people always wonder if they are all ours – it is so uncommon to have more than 2 or 3 children today that they honestly think it is impossible for 1 man and 1 woman to have 6 sons together and not be a blended family!
Disclaimer (LOL) – I do not consider myself an expert. I am simply a mom doing her best to raise decent, honorable, Christian young men. Along the road there have been many trials, challenges, joys and triumphs and I expect there will be many more to come. We have learned many things through these many parenting situations and I am happy to share those things with other moms who may be going through something similar. I do however always tell others that my way may not work for everyone! The dynamics for each and every family are different and unique and need to be treated as such and only God truly holds all the answers. As we grow and learn we are sometimes able to impart wisdom to others, but ony He holds the key.
