Before being a mom, I not only was the perfect mom, my job as a "parent trainer" was to teach other moms to be a perfect, or at least better mom ;o) I cringe when I think of how smug I was. When motherhood did not come after 9 years of marriage and I was diagnosed with MS, my husband and I adopted. Not only did I find I wasn't the perfect mom, it is only through God's grace that I am a passable mom (and not even that if you ask my kids :oP) <br/>Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences in such an honest manner and in a public forum.
