Once again I am reminded that boys have a very interesting and unique way of looking at life!
This morning our 9 year old was getting out spoons for everyone just before breakfast and as he looked at all the spoons in his hand he says,
“You know . . . you can kill a frog with a spoon.”
HUH? Where in the world does this sort of thing come from. So I ask him:
“Son, first why would you want to kill a frog and second why would you want to kill a frog WITH A SPOON?”
He laughs his little “obviously mom doesn’t get it” laugh and simply replies that “it would be cool” in such a way that I know he’s simply trying to get a reaction. That really is what it’s all about though isn’t it? Shocking someone and getting a reaction! Aaaaaaah Boys!
