I have decided to get real about my priorities of late. This is never an easy thing to do, but it is necessary. I have avoided it long enough and know that I need to start making some changes. Suffice it to say that I am going to take it one step at a time and share one step at a time.
I am part of a wonderful group of women and I have joined their accountability group. This is my first step. To get back into the habit of reading the Word on a daily basis. Prayer is a wonderful thing, and I pray continually, but I am finding that without a daily feeding from the word it can feel a bit empty, and the prayers can get a bit lost. I’m missing that piece, the power of “It is written”!
I know that getting my priorities straight is the only way to stay on track as a mom! It is all too easy in this world to try to go it alone and pretend that there are no consequences – I do not want my children to be consequences because I could not get it together enough to prioritize my life as their mother! I will not be the mom God intended unless my priorities are in order – and He needs to be put back in first place!
