There are three things I desire for my children more than anything else . . . a close relationship with Christ, the perfect mate chosen by Him for each child and that they remain sexually pure until marriage.
Each one of these things are difficult to say the least in todays age, but to have people say that the first is the only truly attainable desire is wrong! With much prayer and direction from Him throughout our parenting amazing things can happen and each and every one of my top three desires can come to pass! All we have to do is PRAY! Pray often, pray fervently, just pray!
This book has been so very refreshing in the sense that although many of the topics are deep I am getting major parenting and life tools! I truly appreciate that the deepest and most personal areas are being covered and I am taking it all to heart!
“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13
I’m thankful that He provides us with the wisdom and ability to get out of temptation, He provides this for my children as well . . . I pray that they seek it daily for themselves as they get older!
