I don’t remember ever being quite so focused or ready for Earth Day!  Usually it comes and goes with nary a head nod from me in it’s general direction.  Outside of the fact that my children usually plant trees and do other landscaping at their school that day I would never have noticed it existed.  Maybe it’s a book I am currently reading to review (the timing for it was really perfect), but regardless of the reason, here I am ready to make many changes.

How do you feel about becoming more eco-conscious as a mom and as a family?  I’m very interested to hear!  I plan on offering some truly great resources and information this week and hope that you will see the positive and relatively easy changes you can make, even small ones that can have a huge impact on our humble little planet!

I too have been more concerned about our environment and being a good steward of it, plus eating healthier as a family

Yep, I’m pretty new on the earth conscious trail. My mom was/is a hippy and VERY earth conscious and I kinda went the opposite direction in teenage rebellion! But I’m on my way back now that I have kids of my own. It should be fun learning together.

I’ve been eyeing those green and white fabric shopping bags at my local Publix grocery store and thinking about investing in a few of them so as not to have to make the “paper or plastic” decision everytime I go in.

I just posted an article relating to Earth Day as well, and I am excited about some little tid-bits I’ve learned lately. I definitely want to be more eco-conscious, and I look forward to checking out your tips. Thanks so much!

Normally, I do not think much about Earth Day but this year, we are going to make a difference.
I want my children to respect and love the land we live on.
