Welcome to A Frog In My Soup! My name is Shera and I am the mom behind the "Soup" or the "Frogs" whichever you happen to be reading about. My hubby and I have been married for 18 years. We have 6 sons that frequent these pages: CJ (16), Salesman (13), Tater (12), J-Man (8) & The TwinkyDinks (or Tweebs depending on their mood) - Bugs & Monkey (6 & 6). Oh my word that sounds so much like me and my younger sister. LOL I have tears in my eyes from laughing. Wish I could have seen that. Pics or a vid of this experience would have been fabulous. LOL
I just love your blog! It is so colorful and you always write fun blogs
) I\’ve finally added you as a link in my sidebar to remind me to check back often!!!
I was laughing with you all the way. I could so picture it. You go gals.
Shera, that sounds like such a hoot! I got my “ab exercise” this morning laughing over this story.
Too bad you didn’t get a video to send in to America’s Funniest Home Videos. That would be perfect LOL!
Too funny…poor things.
You did, as always, an amazing job retelling the story but you missed one little point. As the cars were driving by you actually said “maybe someone will stop and help us” and you sounded HOPEFUL! I was mortified hoping and praying that we somehow blended into the landscape, or came across as 2 perfectly normal women doing a little moving. Not you, you were ready to flag down a innocent passing motorest. Have you no PRIDE?! This experience has taught me two things; first, a kingsize matress has no backbone to keep it standing up straight on two sleds (the one flaw in my otherwise brilliant plan). Second, there is no one I laugh harder with than my sister! love you!
Oh Shera that was such a fun story to read to start off the day LOL If only you had had pictures of this sled and mattress! I hope you got some organizing done after all that! Reminds me of when my mom and I tried to get a queen sized mattress up a tiny flight of stairs, I was laughing so hard I slid down the stairs with it pinning my mom against a wall with the mattress and she was laughing so hard she couldn’t tell me she was pinned. Women should NOT move a mattress!!!
Oh my, that was GREAT!! I can picture it now. Sooo funny. Thanks for the laugh!
What a great story!
You two sound like a lot of fun. I hope the rest of the room-switching went well.
Great story.
I just wanted to let you know that I got the DVD this weekend that I won on Froggy Reviews. It’s great. And I just wanted to say Thanks, again.
Awww Shera, love it up darlin… since I moved I\’m a country away from my sis… this story makes me miss her so much. Count your blessings and your sleds… is that one still stuck under the mattress? LOL!
