I know, I know, where have I been this week??? A little information thrown at you on a whim and that is all??? So not like me and I know it! We’re into the first full week of school and I have a lot on my plate and even more thoughts in my head.
I’ve been spinning around (well, not literally LOL) with ideas of topics that I want to share with you to encourage and bless you. Topics like planning, stress, life … you know, nothing deep really, but deep
.
I could spend a year on the topic “When Life Doesn’t Go According to Plan”, but although I visit the idea often (and will continue to do so), the answer to that one really can be summed up in one question … “Who’s plan?”. The answer, always points back at me and my human nature trying to take over. That said though, there are many elements to this topic that are worth visiting, so I’ll go there … eventually.
Stress is definitely a topic I’ll be thinking and praying about over the next weeks as my life seems to be consumed by it a bit. I’m one of those gals that likes to keep life as stress free as possible. Also a girl that, when confronted with stress, will not show signs of it externally … but get eaten up inside. That’s where I am right now. Nothing huge (well, not for me anyway), but lots of little things that are adding up to my Mountain of Stress {said in a big booming voice}.
What else have I been up to??? I’ve been reading a lot of books lately for Froggy Reviews and I really would love it if you’d all take a peek at these fabulous books and the information about them. Some of them are light-hearted, fun reads and some of them are deep and thought provoking. Check in often for all the latest, I usually review at least one or two books per week. Ooh, and a heads up for all of you … there’s a fun contest starting over there tomorrow.
Sports … need I say more? Well, for those who are interested in a little more information let me give you the next couple of hours of my life. The twins are getting up from their nap and I will begin getting them ready to leave. My 3rd and 4th graders will be home on the bus in less than an hour and the second they step off, we will load into the SUV to head to Tater’s soccer practice until 5pm. We will then go straight to Salesman’s Football practice to drop him off … did I mention that I will spend soccer practice running to get gas in the car and help Salesman get suited up for football? After we drop of Salesman, we’ll head to pick up CJ from practice at the Jr High. Then I will come home and make dinner. Hopefully Hubby will be able to pick Salesman up from practice tonight
.
Now I’m tired all over again, I’ll add in a trip into the kitchen to grab a mocha before I get started …….
