I love to bring you information on the best books, movies, products and websites! Occasionally though, I feel it necessary to give you a warning. There is much deception out there, but some movies, music and books are particularly offensive, but deceptively so!
Unfortunately there are many out there who think it’s ok to prey on Christian families who are working hard to teach their children the definites of right and wrong in a mostly grey culture. In this particular case, in order to forward a very altered world view, the author of these books present themselves as having God’s answers to your children’s questions. This is particularly dangerous since the names of the books are: Conversations with God and Conversations with God for Teens by Neale D. Walsch.
Without getting into too much detail, the questions posed by these children ask about moral and sexual issues {among other things}, all on the premise of receiving a biblically based answer. What they receive are platitudes that not only encourage them to continue in their behavior but some even go so far as to quote supporting scriptures out of context {or completely reworded}.
Just a little Parent Beware!
