I was soooo very excited to recieve Car seat ID kits for BOTH of my twinkies’ car seats this week! They were sent courtesy of My Precious Kid so of course they did NOT disappoint!
Did you know that in the event of an accident it is not uncommon for the emergency response teams to NEED this information about your children. If your child cannot speak for themselves … and you aren’t able to speak for them … this information can get them cared for immediately and also tell the emergency responders who to call!!! Mommies … this is a big deal!
We would all like to think the best – that we will never be in an accident, but let’s face it, if we drive anywhere we are potentially at risk so why not be prepared. It only takes a few minutes to do. I recommend these kits from My Precious Kid because they are self-contained, attach to the child’s car seat like a luggage tag (some attach with a sticky back which makes them difficult to change) and they are affordable.
Kay (owner of My Precious Kid) recommends that Car Seat Id tags be updated every 6 months for your child’s first three years of life and once annually after that!
