It’s been an unusual week here at A Frog In My Soup. I have been trying to get all of the rest of the reviews and giveaways up so that you can all have a chance to participate and receive everything before Christmas! Click on over to the home page to see all the posts you can enter to win!
Trimming the tree is always an interesting event around here … especially when there are little ones. Last year, the tree lived behind a gate in an attempt to keep twin one and a half year olds out of it (didn’t really work). The picture you see above was taken during the Twinkies’ nap right after we had decorated it. It doesn’t look ANYTHING like that now though!
The bottom 3 1/2 feet are now completely BARE! I have a 5 year old who is determined to group all ornaments by size and the twins feel that all ornaments should be used as balls. Let me say here and now that our ornaments are NOT glass! They are all plastic this year, even so, I would like them to learn to leave the pretties alone.
We took the time this year to create a memory with the boys by stringing popcorn and cranberries. Something they enjoyed immensely. The twins have been enjoying them as well …. but not in the same way. They feel it absolutely necessary to eat every single piece of popcorn they can reach. Before you are completely disgusted, I have to say that I have removed all strands from the bottom half of the tree.
