When talking about any Holiday festivities or get-togethers or even family moments (decorating the tree, getting the lights up, etc.) many of us immediately think about the food that we will be preparing or that we are used to having traditionally during that occasion.  Well, maybe it’s just me!

Kids pick traditions quickly!  If for instance you happen to pick up donuts one year on your way to the tree farm to pick out a Christmas tree, don’t be surprised if the kids ask you to do that every year … “but it’s tradition” they’ll say, even if you didn’t intend for it to become one.

Here’s a great idea for adding a new traditional holiday food to the list … Ultimate Party Meatballs.  This recipe is oh-my-WORD simple!!!  No joke!  Simply combine Heinz Chili sauce, Ocean Spray jellied Cranberry Sauce and prepared meatballs choose your cooking method and voila!  You can take my word for it since we had the opportunity to try this out (thanks in part to Mom Central) and were very impressed (unless you hate cranberry sauce that is).

Just go to the site and get the recipe, you’ll be glad you did.

If you don’t have a traditional food you eat while decorating the Christmas tree, this would be GREAT!  Just throw it in the crockpot several hours before you plan to “deck the halls” and it will be ready for you to enjoy so that you don’t have to stress about preparing something difficult for dinner that night.

This is also a great idea for holiday potluck parties since it serves so many!  Just bring along a cute cup of toothpicks and your crock pot and you’re good to go.

I definitely recommend Ultimate Party Meatballs for making life easier during the holidays!
