If you are a new or expecting mom who is/wants to breastfeed your baby, meet your new best friend … the Cushie Pushie. It is a support pillow for breastfeeding mothers that is compact in size so it can go anywhere you and your diaper bag go. This great little invention is covered in a fun selection of fabrics and offers breastfeeding mothers an easy way to get the proper position so they can simply focus on their baby.
I was very fortunate … when my first son was born at 10 pounds (indeed, he was a whopper) he had absolutely no problem getting down to business breastfeeding. I know that this is not necessarily the experience of most first time moms who choose to breastfeed.
Surprisingly enough, my third son was NOT a good breastfeeder … he would barely open his little tiny mouth and we struggled for quite a while to get it right. Any mom who has been through the challenge of teaching a baby the proper way to latch on and nurse understands how many hands are often needed. So, in a sense, this great pillow offers you just that, another hand … one that keeps you in just the proper position for the best breastfeeding experience.
Be sure to visit their website to find out even more about them. If the Cushie Pushie looks familiar, that is probably because it is carried by many online mom-owned shops! This is a mom-invented product.
Cushie Pushie is generously offering one Cushie Pushie – Breast Support Pillow. To enter, simply leave a comment telling us your favorite breastfeeding experience, or if you are expecting your first, let us know what you are looking forward to … or dreading about breastfeeding. Of course, if you are entering for a loved one, feel free to simply leave a comment telling us that as well.
There are quite a few ways to get extra entries for every single contest going on during Baby Fest, so you are welcome to check out this post to find out how. This contest closes on Feb. 6th.

I am loking forward to and dreading breastfeeding at the same time. I want to get the twins on the same schedule but then thinking about feeding 2 at one time is daunting.

I loved breastfeeding my daughter and now I am with my 4 month old son. I’d love to try this! My favorite thing about nursing is that no one else can do this for my children. It was always mommy and me time!

I valued every moment of breastfeeding my now 1 year old son, and I can’t wait to experience it again with the *surprise* baby we’re expecting in September!

My favorite nursing experience is the first time I feed my baby after the milk comes in. I love hearing that suck-gulp sound, knowing that I’m providing the best nourishment in the world for my little one and they’re loving it.

I am due in June with my first child and am scared about breastfeeding in general. I know I want to do it but I think I make it more complicated than it should be and I’ll be having to pump since I’ll go back to work after 8 weeks.

My favorite experience with nursing is actually being able to do it. I couldn’t with my daughter, I didn’t produce enough milk and she was failing to thrive. My son nurses like a champ, and Im very happy about it!

Omgosh, I loved nursing my daughters. One of the funniest things that happened when I was nursing my first daughter, I was laying in bed waiting for her to make a sound and my body decided to let the milk flow and it shot about 3 feet up into the air lol It caught me totally off guard!
Thanks

February 6th, 2009 at 12:49 pm 46
I don’t know how to pick “the best moment” because the ENTIRE experience filled me with such joy and wonderment of my precious babies during breastfeeding as the best “bonding” time!
February 6th, 2009 at 7:29 pm 47
We’re still in our first week of breastfeeding, so it’s all new to us. There’s been a lot of frustration, but the best moment would have to be the first time she was able to latch on and just start sucking without any tears of frustration, when I realized everything was working as it should and she was actually getting nourishment from me

I sooooo love nursing my 16 month old ds! And…..don’t laugh, but I call him my LUSCIOUSLY VORACIOUS MILKY MONSTER because he loves to nurse with wild abandon! Nursing is the most amazing communication I’ve ever experienced with another being before.

I enjoyed breastfeeding my first one and although that time didn’t last very long, I still treasure every moment of it. I hope to be able to breastfeed my second one (due next month) a lot long and the Cushie is something I’d LOVE to win.
