When you visit Micah & Co. you’ll immediately be greeted by a fun and very mommy appealing design, but when you look just a little deeper, you’ll find so much more.
I want to start by saying that I have “known” the owner of Micah & Co. for quite some time now and my experiences working with her have always been wonderful! By getting to know her, you will understand the reason and meaning behind this wonderful shop and the great variety of products that are offered.
We will be visiting Micah & Co. a few times through the event, so I get to introduce you to a variety of their products as we go. Today, we’ll look at a couple of unique products for the mom-to-be.
I remember being pregnant with my first son. It seemed like it took forever for me to start showing (not AT ALL a problem with my second and other subsequent pregnancies though) and I practically wanted to shout it from the rooftops … but subtly LOL!
I love their Expecting Flower Pendant, it would have been the perfect answer for my first-pregnancy-dilemma! I also know how excited friends and family get when they find out that a loved one is pregnant. This pendant would be wonderful to announce your pregnancy to friends and family, but is also a fantastic gift to give the newly expecting mom-to-be!
Click on the “read more” link below to read more about this shop and products and to enter to win a great prize from them!
Another pendant that Micah & Co. carries that I love is their Blessed Tag Pendant with Birthstone. My sister and I had the opportunity to review this simple, beautiful necklace and loved it! It is perfectly delicate, while having the amazing ability to remind us to be thankful with one simple word “blessed”. This one comes complete with the mom’s birthstone and they offer one without the birthstone as well.
The list of amazing necklaces to announce and celebrate pregnancy and motherhood just goes on and on, so I suggest you visit the jewelry for moms section and take a look for yourself (there’s even something for the grandma-to-be
), they even offer “expecting” necklaces that reflect the month you are due.
When you’re done taking a look around, be sure to come back here and enter to win a Monogram Pendant for yourself (or a friend/sister/daughter). To enter, just leave a comment, and just for fun, feel free to tell us all what it was like for you when you found out you were pregnant!
Remember there are many ways to get extra entries, just refer to our Event post here.

I like the Dainty Monogram Slide Pendant because it is so dainty! I was elated and shocked when I first found out I was pregnant. By that time I had been married for 8 years , had an adopted son and was preparing to start the process for a second adoption! Oh and I felt terrific during the entire pregnancy!

The first time around I took 6 tests before I got a positive one. I was 21 weeks along at that point and time! Talk about shocked. Caleb was born 4 1/2 weeks easily, so I didn’t have much time to get ready…lol!!! Yes, I knew that this sounds crazy, and here is the kicker, I worked as a Medical Assistant for two OB doctors! Three of the tests were ones from work. With in three weeks of finding out I was pregnant my BP shot up and I was on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy. My other pregnancies I knew with in the first few weeks that I was pregnant. It was just in God’s plan for me to be “surprised” with Caleb.

When I found out I was pregnant I was absolutely shocked… We had only been married for three weeks and had been planning to wait for at least 2 years to have a baby!! Now that he is here, we wouldn’t change it for the world. What an unexpected blessing!

I love the monogram necklace. I found out I was pregnant the first time at the emergency room. We were trying to get pregnant and I started have severe pain one night. So severe that we decided to go to the emergency room. Never found out why I was in so much pain but did find out I was pregnant. Number two came after fertility drugs.

When I found out I was pregnant the first time I was scared (I was 18, oops!). The second time I was nervous (I was 33 and knew better what being a parent entailed). The third time I was relieved. I knew that that one was the last one and as I was getting “up there” in age, I knew that there might be difficulty.

January 27th, 2009 at 4:23 pm 25
I got the phonecall that we’d been selected by a birthmother to adopt her baby while my husband was out of town. He was camping with friends and they weren’t available via cell phone. I was going crazy because I just wanted to share this news, the best in my life to that point, but I also wanted to tell my husband before anyone else. So I ended up calling the ranger station at the state park where they were camping and told them it was a “family emergency” and I needed my husband to call right away. The bad part was that he assumed someone in the family had died. The good part was that he didn’t guess what the real “emergency” was before I told him.
