He was camping with friends and they weren't available via cell phone. I was going crazy because I just wanted to share this news, the best in my life to that point, but I also wanted to tell my husband before anyone else. So I ended up calling the ranger station at the state park where they were camping and told them it was a "family emergency" and I needed my husband to call right away. The bad part was that he assumed someone in the family had died. The good part was that he didn't guess what the real "emergency" was before I told him.
