Blogging as a mom is an amazing experience! Fellow Mommy Bloggers totally know what I’m talking about. We do it because it is an outlet, creative expression, and even because it allows us a few minutes of social interaction with other mommies in the blogosphere, sharing our thoughts and opinions and reading comments of others.
Each and every day we welcome new Mommy Bloggers into our ever growing and changing community. Each of those bloggers has a unique style, platform and purpose for their life and that is typically shown clearly on their blog.
By now you may be wondering where in the world I’m headed with all of that … well, here’s the deal! I don’t know of any blogger, especially Mommy Bloggers who does not want their very own unique blog design.
A design that sets them apart and reflects their life, family and blog in a unique way. Not just another one of the cookie cutter designs available out there.
Those of you who are familiar with my work know my motto well: At Sweet ‘n Simple Design we believe that every woman’s blog design should be as unique as the woman behind it. My blog designs are one of a kind and will never be sold twice … period!!
Over the last couple years I have given away many designs … to bloggy friends, in giveaways on other sites, etc. But as we headed into this year, I felt very strongly that I would like to offer one blog design to a deserving mom each month. But I need nominees! I’m asking all of you to peruse the mommy blogosphere in search of just such a mom.
With my blogging responsibilities here and at a few other sites, I have lost some of the time I used to have to go “blog hopping”. That is how I discovered many of the blogs that I gave my designs to. I’m hoping next fall to get into a schedule where one day a week is devoted to blog hopping, but until then (and probably even when I can do that again), I need your help.
Once you have a deserving mom in mind and would like to nominate them, go to my Blog Designs page for the submission form.
The idea here is that I’m looking for people to nominate mommy bloggers who fall into the following criteria:
- Have an existing “mommy” blog (not a business, product info or review blog).
- Use Blogger or self-hosted Wordpress.
- Cannot afford to purchase a design of their own.
- You may nominate yourself

I have no idea what the demand for this offer will be, but suffice it to say … if I have more than ONE nomination per month, I will choose one.
Just a few limitations: Designs may be chosen from www.SNSBlogDesign.com or a Sweet ‘n Simple Basic Custom Design for Blogger or Wordpress. This offer does not include any specialty templates (magazine, etc). Art chosen for the design must be from those I have license to use.

My friend, Joy, has just discovered the joy of blogging. She started about 3 weeks ago, and has rarely missed a day. She is a home schooling SAHM of 5 (16, 6, 5, and twin 3 years olds). Her husband recently started working after being out of work with an injury for about a year.
