It's so easy to use and she can carry it around because it's so small. But since it is so small any movement in your hands is detected. However I hold it differently so that I don't have that issue. I have video of my kids eating, snow fights, and even my son breaking his collarbone during the semi-finals in wrestling.. Yep... proud Mommy moment.. .I video taped it before running to his side. ~sighs~ I would recommend it though, I love it, it is ALWAYS in my purse, I can upload it at work or anywhere that has a port. AND you can watch it straight on your TV right after you record to see if you need to do a repeat. IN FACT... I won a fully paid trip to Tempe, AZ this past March using my Flip Camera. I video taped the whole thing, uploaded it and made a video from all the clips I had within 2 hours. It is *THAT* easy. Good luck on your choice! I have one and I LOVE it! You'll be amazed at how they can so quickly and easily capture priceless moments because they are so small you can carry them in your purse or pocket.....which means you'll be much more likely to actually use it than those older style camcorders....and transferring the video to your computer (or uploading to YouTube) just could not be any easier....
