Spring Cleaning Here I Come

X-14 I’m not typically one of those women who reserves one day or week out of each year for Spring cleaning. I never have been. This year though, I’m feeling like it might be a good idea …I’m SO ready for Spring!

Of course I’d just work it in on a nice day, but I have to admit that on bright sunny days…though they are few around here this time of year…I like nothing more than to smell fresh air floating through the house and have everything clean and scrubbed.

Keeping the bathroom even remotely clean is a CONSTANT battle in our house. If you have boys I know you’re not surprised to hear this! We have 8 people (almost) using our one little bathroom AND we live in a fairly moist state. Put two and two together and you definitely get mold!

It really does work and I have to say, the fact that I could spray it on, leave the room and then just rinse it off is WONDERFUL. I really didn’t have to scrub and some of the mold in that room was pretty hideous so that’s a big statement.

It is very potent, so make sure you use it in a room that is very well ventilated (more so than you typically would). I do not recommend this product for use in homes where any of the family members have respiratory problems, but when you use it as directed it is fine for normal home use.

I too just clean when I can get to it not setting aside one day. As far as bathroom mold and mildew go I put a cap full of bleach in a half gallon bottle and spray once a week before I go shopping and everyone is out of the house. I like to leave the bathroom window open. Thanks for the info on the product. Nice to hear things when you haven;t tried it.
