As moms we work hard to capture all those fun little moments we experience with our children.  Whether you have one of the most basic point and shoot cameras or a full-fledged SLR, we all need a great way to present our digital photos.

About a year ago, we had a video made for us featuring our twins from birth through age 2 using photos and music.  It was such a sweet way to preserve their life and create a keepsake, but to be honest, the price per video is definitely more than many families can afford, especially on a regular basis. For us, being a large family the cost would be astronomical.

I had put the pictures I wanted to use in a separate folder as I did my usual editing. Then, when I was ready to make the muvee™, I just popped that folder into the pictures area, selected the muvee™ style I wanted to use and the music to go with it. That’s it! Each style has different settings and it will let you know if you need more photos or less.

I got the program right before we left for Cozumel and simply could NOT resist playing with it right away and I loved how simple it was to create this video of our sons:

The muvee™ of our Boys took about a half hour or so from start to finish to create and the Cozumel muvee™ took only about 15 minutes or so. I went ahead and saved them in the best format for uploading to YouTube so that I could share them with all of you, but you can also save them in almost any other possible format depending on your needs (need a great video for Grandma for Mother’s Day? Here you go)…like burning to DVD, downloading to your iPod and much much more!

Yes, you can also use HD video and regular video from your camcorder…and did I mention that this program analyzes the music you choose and perfectly times your photos with the music?  There are truly so many different muvee™ styles to choose from and there’s no way for me to even begin to show them all to you, so you’ll simply have to go to the site and check it out for yourself!
