These are My Princesses!
I’m not biased or anything, but I have to admit I think they are just the cutest little girls in the universe! Even if they are “just” my nieces. I can’t believe how quickly Little Miss is growing up (or my Princess either for that matter – though I should be used to it by now since she’s 9).
Ok, moving on…this week’s Digi Scrap tip: Keep it simple! There are a lot of digi scrappers who do some incredibly detailed and ornate layouts. Please do not be intimidated by these or use them as the standard that you should measure up to. Not only is that method too time consuming, but often it can be a waste of time and energy. Why? Because most of us need to scrapbook more than one tiny little photo in the bottom corner of the page.
Yes, I think that this method is beautiful and well worth your time occasionally if it’s something that won’t frustrate you to do. But it isn’t always practical, so like the image above, sometimes less is more and simply enhancing the photo and story within it is best!
Updated: Sorry everybody, I totally forgot to mention that the wonderful artist behind the art used in this kit is Kay Miller. The kit is called Hopes and Dreams!
