When I was asked to participate in the Skinny Cow® blog tour with Mom Central, I just had to say yes…I mean who would say no to this fun yummy treat? Well, obviously NOT me. Of course there are also always lots of willing reviewers around here when it comes to anything food, especially anything sweet!
I have liked Skinny Cow® ice cream treats for years, and that definitely hasn’t changed. Their ice cream sandwiches (especially the mint or peanut butter and chocolate ones) are almost like comfort food, reminding me of when I was a little girl…but with a lot less sugar and fat. And their new Truffle Bars are absolutely amazing! Ice cream and drizzled Chocolate YUM!
I know I’m not alone in my love of sweets and especially ice cream, but I also need to lose weight and I’m watching what I eat. Of course, even when we are eating carefully we want a treat now and then, this is the perfect opportunity to do that.
Their products do not have trans fat, many of their products have removed all partially hydrogenated oils (look for the Best Life diet seal) and several are gluten free (fudge bars are one). Also, the only product they offer that contains Splenda is their No Fat Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches (you’ll see the Splenda seal on the package) which is actually great in my book (I don’t love Splenda).
Let’s face it…just the name alone is enough to draw me in
. So next time you’re looking for a guilt free indulgence stop grab your favorite Skinny Cow® treat!

Skinny Cow treats are sooo good. I wouldn’t have known they were more healthful if it hadn’t been for the name. That’s a high compliment, I think.
