Yesterday as we walked across the parking lot to enter church, Bug stopped and picked a flower. When his Dad asked him what he was doing, he replied very matter-of-factly…

“This is a flower for God, I’m going to give it to him!”

He carried that flower in with him and excitedly showed it to his teacher.

Later that day, as we sat at the table eating dinner, he was playing with the bracelet he had made in his class at church that morning…

Bug: “See this bracelet?”
Me: “Yes buddy, it’s a very nice bracelet”
Bug: “Yeah, God gived it to me”

Well then, he is a very blessed little boy!

It takes a child to understand that love from anyone and for anyone is really from/for God. I’m sure God loved the flower.

What a sweet story! I never cease to be amazed at the way a young child’s mind thinks – they have such an untainted view of the world. We should all strive to see things that way as well :)

So sweet! Seems like God has touched his heart. My youngest son was having trouble at school during the early part of it. Towards the end, his teacher pulled him aside and praised him for his change of behavior and asked him what made him change so drastically. He looked at the teacher and said “Why, it’s because I’ve been baptized.”

Wow ! Sometimes even us adults cannot see the blessings from God. We take everything for granted but children, they appreciate every little thing. That’s so amazing and I wish sometimes we could be as innocent as they are.

    Take care
