As I sit at the airport preparing to board a flight headed to New York, there’s not a whole lot to share. Like the little pop-up box told you, you can definitely follow me on twitter to get all the latest up to date details on my travels. I do plan to post this evening about everything I see and do today!
In the meantime, instead of boring you with my airport experience (how exciting can they really be?), I thought I’d bless your day with just a little sugar and sweetness in the form of my absolutely, incredibly adorable niece who is now a waaaay too old 6 month old.

Both of these layouts were created using SAS Designs’ brand new Nature’s Garden kit!
Of course, I have to do a tip for the week if I feature a scrapbook layout…..today, it’s about creating a 2 Page layout.
Rarely, if ever, will you want to create only one page of something. Every single scrapper I know wants to have a beautiful and coordinating layout for each page that is turned. That does not mean that every single page in the book needs to be the same colors, theme or kit (though some have done that nicely as well)…but it does mean that for every single layout you make, you will want to create a coordinating 2nd page to go with it.
That idea is displayed perfectly with the 2 page layout that I featured above. Honestly, I usually make one more elaborate page, with a matching simple page for the opposite side of the layout. This time I went elaborate with both since I was using this gorgeous kit for SAS Designs’ CT.
Have a question or thought? Feel free to leave a comment, I love talking to my readers!

I love this design. I have been thinking of looking into digital scrapbooking. Can you share with us what program(s) you use? Is it easy to do or get the hang of? Do you have to invest in a ton of programs or special printers or whatnot? Thanks for letting me ask so many questions. LOL

I use Photoshop Elements 7.0 and got it from Costco for under $100. There are a lot of tips and tricks types of tutorials online, just do a search for the specific things you’d like to know. I have shared several in the past, you can click on the Scrapbooking link at the end of any of my Scraphappy or Digital scrapbooking posts where a layout is featured. There’s also a link in the far right sidebar.
I do have more than one program, but once I purchased Photoshop Elements I have used that pretty exclusively, it is honestly the BEST way to go!!!
I try to post at least one layout and tip per week. I do miss a week here and there, but most of the tips I offer are fairly simple and definitely aimed to educate beginner digiscrappers! Please feel free to ask any questions you have along the way, I’m more than happy to answer them!
