What’s Labor Day without a little nudge to all the new moms out there? What! That’s not what Labor Day is about. Well, to most of the moms I know it is! Seriously, say the word “labor” and what’s the first thing that pops into mind? That’s right! But I digress….
I recently found out about a great company called aden+anais (isn’t that a great name?). It was started by two mothers who both moved to the US from Australia in 1996 and they were stunned by the lack of great quality baby wraps here. In Australia, babies are always wrapped in muslin, and the wraps are a lot larger than those available here.
These comfortable wraps are perfect for almost any baby use from swaddling and sleeping to a great stroller cover because of how large they are. The more you wash these swaddling blankets, the softer they get and they are ultra breathable which makes them perfect for any season/climate!
In addition to their muslin wraps, aden + anais also carries towels and muslin cotton washcloths! Be sure to check out their entire line.
One lucky commenter will have the privilege of receiving a set (4 pack) of aden + anais’ Mod Muslin Swaddling Blankets (value $44). In order to enter, visit aden + anais’ website and take a look at their products. Then, come back here and tell me why you’d love to have these wraps!
Extra ways to enter…(be sure to leave a NEW comment for EACH extra entry!):

Ohhh, I just bought these for my LO that is on the way. My cousin who had her baby in Ireland had these and I couldn’t resist. Can’t wait to use them.

With 4 kids who loved to be swaddled and a baby on the way I would love to try the muslin wraps
September 6th, 2009 at 5:57 am 3
I actually own a few of these and they are absolutely the BEST way to swaddle babies and we are still using ours for other things now that he’s over a year old. I’d love these b/c I give them for every baby gift and everyone loves them!
September 7th, 2009 at 11:56 am 4
My baby loved being swaddled, and muslin seems like the perfect swaddling material. These would make such a great baby gift.
September 7th, 2009 at 12:59 pm 5
I absolutely would love these for my sweet baby girl (4 months) They look so cuddly and the designs are absolutey darling!
September 7th, 2009 at 2:09 pm 6
I want to try these on my next child. My first always broke out of my wraps, and I think it was because the blankets were too small.
September 7th, 2009 at 3:05 pm 7
I just stumbled it! It is so true. There really aren’t any quality swaddling blankets here in the USA. I went through so many brands hoping they would be large enough, and just ended up layering two together because they never were!

I love the designs- the stars are my favorite . I also love that they are thin enough that the baby would not get overheated in our humid climate.
September 7th, 2009 at 6:17 pm 9
Our first loved being swaddled and with #2 coming soon, we’re on the hunt for bigger, better blankets this time around.

I love the fabric- it gets softer with each wash and it breaths so nicely!

I’d love these b/c I’m due with my first baby in about a week and I’m one of the weird ones that has only received a SINGLE pack of 4 flannel receiving blankets. I’ve been looking at aden + anais and love their swaddling blankets since they’re so big AND lightweight!
September 17th, 2009 at 10:11 am 51
I would love to win these because the fabric is lightweight. And they are a great size. Everything else I find is so little, I have no idea how it would fit around the baby.
