Thank you for your kind words about the photos, I was feeling that they didn't do the area and weather any justice so I'm glad you liked them. I took a few photos with my iPhone of the scene I described in the post and it would be such a treat if those turn out...haven't been able to transfer them to my computer yet though. Talk soon! What a kick. I have three boys and a girl. We must be "neighbors" sort of. I live the Northwest and am experiencing the same creeping gloom. I need to get out and soak in creation because even on darker days God's magnificence is evident if I'd just get off the computer (heehee) or climb out from under the pile of laundry and just LOOK!
