    I wish I did something better to get my mornings off to a good start! I rarely have time to fix myself some breakfast. I’m doing good to get food into the kids’ bellies! That needs to be my mid-year resolution, I think.

    I get each morning off to a good start by setting the timer on my coffee pot to start my coffee a few minutes before I get up.
    It’s much easier to get up when you know you have a hot fresh cup of coffee waiting!

    We’re actually pretty good in the mornings. We prep everything–and I mean everything–the night before. Clothes, socks, underwear, lunches, backpacks, what’s-for-breakfast, etc. There are NO changes allowed in the AM, and the TV goes on when everything necessary is finished. Works pretty well!

    I get everything prepared. I cut up a set amount of fresh fruit the night before and save it in a tupperware in the refrigerator – that way the next morning I just throw it and milk in the blender for a quick smoothie. It saves me some time and lets me have breakfast on the go! Thanks for the giveaway!

    We are not morning people so I get as much done the night before as possible otherwise we are scrambling and cranky. Well- sometimes we are cranky anyways but there’s not the mad dash. ;)

    Orange Juice is my weapon for achievement. I drink it every morning, and by the end of (almost) every day, I’ve achieved something. Perhaps it was a clean house, perhaps it was a finished project at work. Perhaps Honey Kix could add to that routine.

    I am not sure there is much that could get a weekday morning off to a good start…BUT, since you asked…I make sure to eat a good breakfast with enough protein. Otherwise I crash fairly quickly and have a hard time picking myself back up the rest of the day. Coffee is also an essential!

    OK! I will be honest!
    The first thought in my head when I wake up is “I need to pee”.
    Then It’s a cig & a glasss of tea or Dr.Pepper for me before the kids get up.
    Later(about an hour) we have cereal & juice. I fix hot breakfasts on the weekends.
    I get up 30 minutes before them just to have a cig & tea/soda & fully wake up before them.

    I get everything prepared ahead of time that I can, including picking out clothes and preparing any food. Plus, for me it helps to know exactly what my daughters (one is 2 and one is 8 months) are doing the next day so that I know how much time I’m going to have before we have to leave.
