I have neglected mom tech for the last few weeks and wanted to follow up this week with a few great edu-apps for Preschoolers. This week’s suggestions are all Punflay apps.
They sent me these to review with my little guys and they really are worth grabbing if you’re in the market for super fun, interactive, beautiful and entertaining preschool learning apps.
Kandy Fish
Offers four games and an interactive “story” all featuring some very fun fish.
- Kandy Kolor is a great painting app that helps your little ones learn colors while just having fun.
- Kolor Pots takes the learning colors idea one step further by asking children to drag the fish into the correct color paint can.
- Kandy Fun teaches them patterns using the adorable fish.
- Kandy time works on fine motor skills and shapes by having the little ones follow simple directions to draw lines and shapes.
Playing in the background on the home page there’s a great story featuring colors, directions, shapes and patterns. This story can also be “read” by clicking the story book.
iPad game costs only .99 cents so it’s totally worth the price (huge thumbs up on that for the amazing graphics).
As an educational Preschool game this one gets 9 out of 10 stars.
Word Wall
Highly recommended for beginning learners. Again this app is only .99 cents and totally worth it for the amount of content you get! I like to use this one for my struggling reader since it covers words, writing, etc.
This one really is a must have if you have a little one that is struggling with reading or writing.
ABC Numbers
This app is $1.99 and is visually setup a lot like many of the baby toys out there. I’d recommend this for younger children as the big buttons and visual appeal is stronger for them. Covering numbers and letters primarily there’s also colors and writing involved.
