A peek into the everyday sports life of a family with 6 boys (well, only three are in sports right now) ~ just a mere glimpse, mind you. A look into ONE HOUR or so of our lives during the height of football/soccer season, where you can find us running around in circles (literally LOL). To lessen the confusion feel free to read the “helpful note” after the itinerary.
- 4:30 pm leave the house.
- Pick up neighbor boy (lives right down the road).
- 4:50 pm Drop off The Beaver (Son3) at Soccer practice.
- 5:10 pm Drop off Son1 at Football practice.
- 5:30 pm (being really, really optimistic here LOL) drop off neighbor boy at baseball fields on the other side of Football Stadium.
- 5:40 pm Drop off DonaldTrumpWannabe (DTW ~ son2) at the Football Stadium.
- Get back to the Soccer Field to pick up TheBeaver by 6 pm
- Wait for Son1 to be done with Football at 7:30 pm.
- Hurry back to the Football Stadium to pick up DTW by 8 pm.
Helpful Note: When reading this itinerary it probably helps if you know that the destinations here are set up in a triangle. Soccer field on one end of town, Football Practice Field kind of in the middle off to one side and Football Stadium at the other end from the Soccer Field. Soccer field and Football Practice field are about 7 minutes from each other, Football Practice Field and Football Stadium are about 7 min from each other and Stadium and Soccer are about 10-15 min from each other. Got it?
Now, I want to make it clear that not every evening is like this. Wednesdays are more prone to be this way, but Tues and Thurs the football boys usually practice on the same field, one starts at 5:30 pm and one at 6:00 pm.
Games begin this Saturday for all three of our sports boys: TheBeaver’s game starts at 10:15 am at the Soccer Fields, DTW’s Football game starts at 10:30 am (9:30am arrival) at the Football Game Field (same area as the Football Practice Field) and Son1’s Football game starts at 1:30 pm (12:30 arrival time) THANKFULLY also at the Football Game Field.
Ought to be an interesting Season LOL!
