Here’s a little update on the Peas! They are learning new words all the time – I honestly do not remember any of the other boys saying nearly as much as these two do!!!
M says “ready” in a really funny rolling way and has started saying “Wow!” sometimes accompanied by “what’s that?”. Mind you it is all a little mumbly and mimicky, but he totally seems to know what he’s doing! All of it is said at the appropriate time about the appropriate thing – I kept watching thinking it was just a fluke, but nope it seems right. He has definitely taken off recently with the words – he also says Hi and bye and daddy and momma and seems to be trying to come up with a name for his oldest brother. That’s what I can think of for the moment, but he says so many words I simply can’t remember them all right now.
E has been focusing a little more on his climbing (and falling) skills rather than talking skills lately! You see, they have decided that if they can see over the top of it they can climb it! Problem . . . they also think they are invincible! Fall of a chair? Nah not me I am king of the world! I can only imagine what’s going on inside those little heads of theirs. They DO NOT get it though! No matter what I do or how consistent I am if they think they should play in that corner they ARE GOING TO play in that corner, if they think they should run across the couch and dive on the end of it they are going to do that no matter the consequences. Usually I am able to get to them, but sometimes . . . they are just too quick.
He does say lots of words still though and he’s been saying “flah” a lot lately and I’ve never been able to figure out what that meant . . . until today! He said it when picking up the Phone! He also loves to talk about shoes and socks and going “out”. They also like to shhhhh people! It’s their new thing if someone is talking loud in the other room they will say “sssssssss” if they are standing at the gate to the kitchen or sitting on my lap. CUTE!
Well, that’ll do it for now! More another time!
